I study how we understand ourselves and others, combining social cognition research with global collaborations in Big Team Science.

My work focuses on social cognition, self-other distinction, and the dynamics of stress and mood in both everyday life and challenging contexts, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. I am deeply committed to big team science, actively participating in large-scale, multinational collaborations that tackle topics like climate psychology, moral judgment, and the replicability of psychological research. By combining insights into individual psychological processes with collaborative scientific efforts, I strive to advance interdisciplinary approaches and global perspectives to deepen our understanding of human behavior.

Comparing Self-Other Distinction Across Motor, Cognitive, and Affective Domains

Results showed no correlation among SOD domains, suggesting three distinct types. Recognized as a transdiagnostic mechanism, SOD is a promising target for interventions, especially given its impairment in psychiatric conditions.

Everyday Helping during COVID-19

We demonstrated that everyday helping during two COVID-19 national lockdowns was associated with improved mood but increased stress when effortful.

RT Pre-processing Checklist

This paper highlights the lack of transparency in reporting reaction time data analyses in behavioral sciences and introduces a checklist to improve reproducibility, supported by expert consensus and a multiverse analysis.
