My work centers on self-other distinction, exploring how we perceive, interpret, and distinguish between our own experiences and those of others. Beyond my research, I am deeply committed to big team science and the principles of open science. I believe that collaboration and transparency are the cornerstones of groundbreaking discoveries. My involvement in large-scale, multidisciplinary projects has not only expanded the scope of my work but also strengthened my commitment to fostering inclusive, global partnerships.

Since 2022, I have been leading a large, cross-cultural, multi-center behavioral study investigating self-other distinction in patients with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Check out our project’s webpage to learn more about the study and its goals: Self-Other Distinction Project.
